This song was created during the recording of my forthcoming album "Return to the Healing Church," but is not on the album. It was made while recovering from anesthesia and bears some of the hazy and phasing effects of that morning - swaying trees and pulsating lights. I read Mircea Eliade that afternoon and then went out that evening, finally feeling normal again, and shot the photo that accompanies - the duality of the moon over and in the lake.
This song does not fit on the album but I have a lot of affection for it and have revisited it many times so I'm releasing it here as a sort of b-side that precedes the album. I hope that it brings calm and healing to you in the same way that making it did for me.
All proceeds from this track will be donated to the Transgender Law Center, matching Bandcamp's own initiative.
